Knitting

Colors

Color reproduction may vary somewhat depending on the monitor you have.

Stitch density

Be sure to keep the stitch density, otherwise the size will not be correct. Feel free to knit a sample to see if you should use needles with a half size smaller or larger than what is stated in the pattern.

If you want to change one yarn for another, it is important that both yarn types have the same stitch density. For example, all DK yarns (double knit) usually have the same stitch density: 22 stitches and 30 rows measure 10 x 10 cm.

Needles

In many of our patterns, the needle size is 2.25, 2.75, 3.25 and 3.75 mm, which is the English standard. In Sweden, the standard is half and whole millimeters. Depending on how you knit, it is perfectly fine to use whole and half numbers instead. For example, if the pattern says to use 3.25 mm needles, you can use 3 mm if you knit looser or 3.5 mm if you knit a little tighter.

Sizes

In some women's patterns, the sizes are given in S, M, L, XL, etc. The bust measurement in parentheses after each size (the first number) is an average measurement. The bust measurement of 84 cm in size S includes a range of 81-86 cm.

Difficulty

For each pattern, there is information about the difficulty level in the form of symbols with a ball. One ball means that the pattern is easy and can be used by someone who is not very used to knitting or crocheting. Two balls are suitable for those with a little more experience, while three balls are patterns for the more experienced.
