With its blend of silk and super kid mohair, this is a beautiful, soft, and lustrous yarn with a light and fluffy structure. We primarily use it as a carry-along thread together with other yarns, but it is also stunning on its own, especially in simple designs. Textured patterns do not appear very clearly in this yarn due to its fluffy surface, unless you knit Silk Mohair together with a smoother yarn.
Since Silk Mohair is so soft and fluffy, some shedding is to be expected, both during the knitting process and while wearing the finished garment. This decreases over time, but it is worth considering what clothes you wear underneath your Silk Mohair knitwear. Isager Silk Mohair is of the highest quality with long fibers, which helps to minimize shedding as much as possible.
