Alpaca 2

Alpaca 2 from Isager is a two-ply yarn consisting of 50% wool and 50% alpaca. The yarn's primary characteristic is its softness, making it especially suitable for baby clothing. When knitted individually, it also creates beautiful cardigans for adults, but one should keep in mind that due to its softness, the yarn is best suited for designs that are not subjected to excessive wear and tear. A soft yarn can never be as durable as a yarn spun from a firmer wool quality that has also been twisted more tightly. On the other hand, Alpaca 2 is excellent for shawls and in combination with Isager´s other qualities.
