Highland

Highland from Isager is spun from Peruvian sheep wool. The yarn is characterized by its beautiful colors, which consist of a blend of different shades dyed into the wool before it is spun. Highland is not as tightly spun as Tvinni and is therefore a softer yarn, but it can still be used as a substitute for both Tvinni and Alpaca 2. In terms of softness and durability, this yarn sits right between those two qualities.

The yarn is excellent for textured patterns when held together with other yarns, and because it is balanced, it does not twist when knitting in the round on circular needles. Highland works perfectly on its own, but is also very lovely when knitted together with our other yarns.
