Merilin

Merilin from Isager is a 3-ply yarn made from a blend of 80% wool and 20% linen. Because the yarn is 3-ply, it provides excellent definition in textured patterns. It is a very soft yarn that can often be worn even by individuals who otherwise find wool prickly or are sensitive to wool. The linen fibers sit as a smooth surface over the wool and give the yarn a beautiful heathered effect, as the linen does not absorb the wool dye in the same way. Merilin is a rewarding yarn for children's clothing thanks to its softness and durability.
